“The mini-series, titled I Want to Get Married, featured five young women competing to win a husband by impressing his mother.
The first episode saw the would-be brides asked to make a dessert using Nestlé condensed milk.
Nestlé says it “sincerely regrets” that the content offended some viewers.
A number of Moroccans had lambasted the campaign, saying it was degrading and outdated to pick a wife based on her cooking skills.”

“BBC news recently published an article concerning the misrepresentation of Nestlé company to Moroccan women through one of it’s adds. It was mainly about five young women competing to get a husband by cooking the best dishes for him under the judgment of his mom. the mini series has been interpreted by Moroccans in different ways, it offended woman by limiting her skills in the ability of cooking and serving man. and fixing the image of marriage as the goal of every girl. personally, a huge anger arose inside of me watching a part of the add that i can not even describe.”
