The Movie “Silence” directed by the famous Scorsese features famous Hollywood stars such as Andrew Garfield, Liam Neeson and Adam Driver.

At first, the horrible scenes of torture makes you think that it’s just another horror movie, but there’s more in it.. It’s about the suffering of the Japanese christians for their faith and not believing in the same God as the rest of the commun. The two jesuit priests (allegedly the most faithful of all the characters) go through the same experience of suffering and torture until a moment where they start questioning their own faith and God. “I pray but I’m lost. Am I just praying to silence?”

I didn’t like the movie that much because it puts the characters in a no escape position where they have to choose between their beliefs and their lives which is unfair.
