Le vendredi 20 octobre, Connect Institute a reçu pour son FEED 79, Nicolas Cheimanoff, ancien élève de l’Ecole polytechnique (promotion 1981), docteur de l’Ecole des mines (1974) et directeur de EMINES – École de Management Industriel à Ben Guerir depuis 2013.

“إذا أعطیتك مائة درهم و بدورك أمددتني بمائة درهم الحصیلة لن تتعدى المائة درهم لكلينا، في حین لو أعطيتني فكرة و بدوري أعطیتك فكرة سنحصل كلانا على فكرتین!” أدرج السید نیكولا شيمانوف هذا المثال لتوضيح أن التبادل المالي لا یتعدى ماهیته نحو شيء آخر عكس التبادل الفكري
:في مداخلته قدّم السيد شيمانوف عدة نصائح للمشاركين
“.لا یمكن للمجتمع أن یحترم الفرد إذا لم يكن هذا الفرد ُیِكن احتراما لذاته”
“.لتصبح قادرا على قول “لا” للآخر بطلاقة يجب أولا قولها لنفسك”
“.مجهود الیوم عطاء الغد”
“إذا تراءى لك أنه من الممكن جدا أن تقرر أنه في غضون عامین ستقوم باستبدال شریك حیاتك سیكون من العقلاني جدا أن تبدأ بالتخطیط لحیاتك للمدى البعید، لا تتجرد من فكرة أن كل ما تملكه الآن هو مدى قصی، ما یستوجب التخطیط له حقاهو لحظتك هاته”

لا حدود للمعلومة و لا توجد معاییر للتحقق من صحتها سوى التفكیر، التساؤل، النقد و التحلیل. سوى ذلك یعتبر تبعیة”

“If I give you 100 DH and you give me 100 DH, we both have 100 DH each. But if I give you an idea and you give me an idea, we both end up with 2 ideas each”. This was the example given by Mr. Nicolas Cheimanoff, to illustrate how ideas are worth more than money.
In his speech, Mr. Cheimanoff gave multiple advices to the participants:

The society won’t respect you if you don’t respect yourself.

In order to say “No” to others, you have to be able to say it to yourself.

Today’s effort is tomorrow’s achievement.

Don’t plan too much for the future and focus on now.

Doubt is the key to certainty.

There is no limit to information and the only way to examine information is through critical thinking.
