Quatre de nos jeunes ont eu l’occasion de voyager à Rabat pour partager deux journées d’échange, de découverte et de travail avec des étudiants de NYU Abu Dhabi en journalisme.
Après cette expérience enrichissante pour les jeunes des deux programmes, une étudiante de NYU Abu Dhabi a écrit :
“One of the best aspects of our trip was the presence of students from the Connect Institute. Not only did they provide us with knowledge on current issues in Morocco, and helped with translation from arabic and french during our interviewing process, but they also added character to our trip and made it much more enjoyable. It was wonderful to hear their opinions and have them share their wisdom on a wide range of topics, from local matters, to global, and personal matters. They were consistently friendly and tried their best to welcome us, which gave me the impression that moroccans are very warm people. Imane, Rachida, Taqi, and Samad helped us immensely, became our guides, but more importantly, they became our friends. They were there for us at any point of the day, and in the evenings we would spend time having various conversations. When they had to leave a lot of us walked with them to the train station, as we cherished even those additional few minutes together. We all wish we could have spent more time with our four friends from Connect Institute, and had the opportunity to learn even more from them.”
